Book receives Historic Preservation Award
"The Revolutionary War in Bergen County: The Times That Tried Men’s Souls" has been awarded a Bergen County Historic Preservation Award by the Bergen County Historic Preservation Commission.
Leonia resident Carol Karels edited the book. Tom Meyers, head of the borough’s Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, wrote a chapter in the book.
The book will be featured at talks at two local bookstores this weekend: Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood, Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. and at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, in Edgewater Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m.
